It’s almost time for Tradoodle Limerick!

 In Events

Tradoodle Limerick will see an exciting variety of children’s workshops taking place in Belltable on Saturday 8th February.  Ceol Connected is delighted to partner with Belltable Limerick to present a series of fun and engaging workshops that all the family can enjoy.

Ceol Connected are no strangers to Belltable.  They have brought an array of their own productions to our venue including The Far Field, A Winter Wish, The Wonderful Tune, and most recently Return of Spring.

The facilitator team who will be delivering our Tradoodle Limerick workshops include some of Ireland’s finest artists from traditional music and dance, theatre, storytelling, and the visual artists.

What’s happening at Tradoodle Limerick?

Children can experience the thrill of sean nós dancing as they shuffle and stamp their feet to the beat in a fun-filled sean nós dancing workshop with renowned dancer Liam Scanlon.

Fancy a song? There’s nothing quite like the joy that can be experienced from singing!  Come along and join renowned singer and multi-instrumentalist Eithne Ní Chatháin (Inni-K) who will teach children some of the Irish tradition’s much-loved songs.

Before having a boogie at Tradoodle’s Treetop Tunes session, children can make their very own shadow puppets with puppeteer Emma Fisher, or join visual artist Jo May for a gentle, playful, and joyful exploration of the creative arts for very young children.  Children can get lost in the art of storytelling with renowned storyteller Aideen McBride who will lead the Spin A Yarn workshop.  And finally, cap off a wonderfully creative day at TREEHOUSE, Ceol Connected’s brand new big-band extravaganza.

At Tradoodle Limerick, there really is something for all the family!
